It has been almost one month since the National Champs and I’m feeling recovered and refreshed. I never really stopped riding, just chilled out and reduced the hours and tried to take on board what I had learnt and what I can improve upon for next time. This weekend I am racing the Gorrick 100 at Swinley Forest, I’ve not raced it before, but I’ve done all their other events and they are alway great fun, it’s not a big race for me but I’ll try for a good result.
I’ve been keeping track of the World Cycle Race Grand Tour, and in particular Mike Hall, who I had the pleasure of racing Rollapuluza against at last years UK Singlespeed Champs (although he did beat me by 0.25 seconds, but he went on to win the title). Mike is currently leading having ridden 11,822miles since leaving the UK on the 18th of Febuary!!
